Simple Signal is a single-purpose app that helps people find each other in crowds by turning an iPhone screen into a colored beacon. This policy explains what information the app accesses and how it is handled.

Information We Collect

Simple Signal does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on external servers. The app has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, and no advertising.

Contacts

Simple Signal requests access to your Contacts so you can address an iMessage to someone you know. Contact information is used solely to populate the iOS Messages composer. Simple Signal does not read, copy, store, or transmit your contacts or any contact data.

Data Stored on Your Device

To provide convenient access to frequent recipients, Simple Signal stores a list of recent sends, favorites, and groups locally on your device using iOS standard storage. This data never leaves your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

Third-Party Services

Simple Signal does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking services.

Children's Privacy

Simple Signal does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.
